How To Install Kazam Screencaster 1.4.5 on Linux Ubuntu

Hello Open Source Lovers, Before you install, it would be better if you know what Kazam is.

What Is Kazam?

Kazam is a simple screen recording program that will capture the content of your screen and record a video file that can be played by any video player that supports VP8/WebM video format.

Optionally you can record sound from any sound input device that is supported and visible by PulseAudio.

Kazam's last stable version is 1.4.5. In this tutorial. I use Xubuntu system operation. with ubuntu version 18.04.1 LTS.

Installation Instruction :

Open Terminal

ctrl + alt + t

Add Repository

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kazam-team/stable-series

Update

sudo apt-get update

Install Kazam Screencaster

sudo apt-get install kazam

Uninstall Instruction : 

Open Terminal

ctrl + alt + t

Remove Kazam Screencaster

sudo apt-get remove kazam
